Still no news on the job front. I’m getting increasingly anxious about the whole thing, and every time the phone rings, my stomach drops out. That Tom Petty song that repeats “the waiting is the hardest part…” is running through my head, even when I wake up in the middle of the night. Embarassing.

Today I take Mr. Sleepingcat to the airport. He’ll return on Friday, one on-campus interview the wiser. Although I’m getting *some* of my own work done this break, I’ve been really focused on getting him ready for the big day. It’s just too perfect a job for him to take the interview lightly.
